this competition has been unexpecting.
I truthfully support The Netherlands or Holland.
Strong team.
i have other favourites in the competition,
-Spain
-Czech Republic
-France
-Portugal
-and a lil bit of Italy
However,
one by one my favourites crashed out of e tournament
(it seems that whoever i support would lose)

the Czechs were thrown out by Turkey
it was e final group match..
in a point of time,
the Czechs were leadin 2-0 !!
bt somehw ,
the Turks scored 3 goals in e last 15 mins !
and they eventually won 3-2

next, France.
it was also their final grp match.
beaten by arch-rivals Italy 2-0
unlucky they are..
next Portugal ! (in the quarterfinals)
unexpectedly lost 3-2 to e germans !
i sae this as..
Germany was nt at all convincing in their grp stages..
they lost to Croatia 2-1
& narrowly won 1-0 against Austria
bt was commanding against Portugal

Holland lost to Russia !! (in the quarterfinals)
3-1 !!

last minute Russia scored 2 goals.

this morning.
lost to Spain 4-2 in penalties
aft a goalless draw aft normal & extra-time
well..
at least Spain gt through to e semi-finals..
Iker Casillas was superb.
saving 2 penalties.
Buffon only managing to save one.
oh well
we'll see who will triumph on e 29th of june.
